Lucifer Valentine (born April 11, 1973 in Winnipeg, Manitoba) is a Canadian editor, visual effects artist, director, and musician. He has been nominated for three Emmy Awards for his work in television, including twice in the Outstanding Title Design category. As a filmmaker, he is best known for his work in the extreme cinema subgenre under the pseudonym Lucifer Valentine, including the surrealist exploitation horror film Slaughtered Vomit Dolls and its sequels. As a musician, he was the guitarist, vocalist, and co-founder of the Winnipeg-based noise rock band Kittens. The band was originally active from 1992 to 1998 and performed two reunion shows in 2006.
