Ashley Smith is an American ballet dancer who grew up in Las Vegas. In her youth, she studied ballet through the Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D), and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD). In 2005, she received teacher training certificates from both programs. She moved to Provo, Utah where she continued her ballet training at Brigham Young University.
