Ali Isa Jabbarov (Ali Khakidani) was born in Baku. He studied at the Faculty of Cinema and Television Film Directing of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts (1996). He worked as a producer in Butafilm film company. He is one of the founders of the Association of Independent Cinematographers of the South Caucasus. Since 2009, he has been the secretary of the Union of Cinematographers of Azerbaijan.
