Son of Enrique Quiroz Acosta and Teresa Acosta de Quiroz and brother of actor, broadcaster and producer Gerardo Quiroz , he began his acting career at an early age. In 1988, he received the Ariel Award for his performance as Carlos in the film Mariana, Mariana , by Alberto Isaac.
